TosTaree Cottages Farmstay Tostaree

We first heard about TosTaree Cottages from Bruce at Big Family Little Income, who is fantastic at finding great places that would make perfect TAWK Supporters and letting us know about them. Bruce discovered TosTaree and thought it would be a great fit for travelling families, especially because they do not charge extra for kids. Happy days.

TosTaree Cottages is located on a working farm, and the owner Greg is always happy to share his knowledge of the area. He even offers farm tours for anyone interested in seeing how things run behind the scenes.

Camping here is simple and relaxed. There are a limited number of powered sites, although there is no water connection available, so you will need to be set up for that.

Facilities are located in the farm shed, which includes the bathrooms and toilets, along with a piano, pool table, table tennis, fireplace and bar. Campers stay in a paddock about 50 metres from the shed, right beside the sheep birthing paddock, which can be a pretty special experience depending on the time of year.

Greg is also happy to show visitors through the shearing shed and explain the process, and sometimes even takes guests for a ride around the farm in the buggy.

In the evenings the bar opens around 5 pm, creating a relaxed spot for travellers and locals to gather, share stories and enjoy a chat by the fire.
