Penong Caravan Park

We were so excited to hear from Jenny and Mick, the new owners of Penong Caravan Park, who reached out to say they would love to support travelling families and become a TAWKer Supporter. They are offering two nights of FREE camping for kids for TAWK Member families. The park has also received a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award and is pet friendly too.

If you are planning to cross the Nullarbor, this is a fantastic place to stay. Penong is either your first or last town with full services before beginning your Nullarbor adventure, making it the perfect stop to rest, stock up and prepare for the journey ahead.

The park has drive through sites, which are great for travellers passing through. That said, we recommend staying a little longer because there is plenty to see and do in the area.

Penong Caravan Park is located directly opposite the famous Penong Windmill Museum, which is a fun and interesting stop for the kids, and also across from Hole 3 of the Nullarbor Links Golf Course, another unique activity for the whole family when crossing the Nullarbor.

It is also a great base for a trip to Cactus Beach, home to world class left and right hand surf breaks, perfect if you have surfers in the family.
