Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park

We are really pleased to let you know that Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park is now a TAWK Park. The team look forward to welcoming TAWK families travelling through this beautiful part of South Australia.

The park is located in the world famous Coonawarra wine region, an area known for its incredible cellar doors and rich food culture. When we travelled through the region we loved exploring the wineries, and there is even a bike trail that runs from the caravan park to many of the local cellar doors, making it easy to explore the area at your own pace.

Penola itself is a picture perfect country town with a fascinating history. It is also known as the home of Australia’s first saint, Mary MacKillop, adding another layer of interest for those exploring the region.

The caravan park is pet friendly, so if you are travelling with your furry family members just let the team know in advance and they will advise you of their policy.

One feature we especially love is the option to hire your own fire pit. Sitting around a campfire at the end of the day, chatting about adventures and enjoying the outdoors, is one of our favourite parts of travelling as a family.
