Des and Telka have a real passion for their camp and love sharing the outback experience with visitors. When you stay here you are not just camping, you are stepping into a true Top End outback experience. From Des’s famous Stockcamp Show, to a three course roast dinner cooked in the camp oven, the smell of fresh bread baking in the morning, a billy boiling for a fresh cuppa, and afternoon drinks around the communal campfire, there is always something special happening.

And that is before you even explore the surrounding area.

Mataranka’s famous thermal pools are only 2 km from the camp, and the property is surrounded by beautiful national park landscapes, making it a fantastic place to relax and explore.

You will be hard pressed to find better hosts than Des and Telka. They genuinely love sharing their knowledge and passion for this beautiful part of the Northern Territory.
