Barwon Heads Caravan Park

Barwon Heads Caravan Park was suggested to us by a TAWK Member who stayed there and thought it would be a perfect fit for the TAWKer Supporter Program. We reached out to the park and they were happy to join. Even better, they also let us know that their sister park, Riverview Family Caravan Park, would come on board as well. And the great news does not stop there. Up to four kids camp free anyway, which is fantastic for travelling families.

The park sits on the picturesque banks of the Barwon River, right where the river meets the sea, and every campsite is just a short walk from the water.

There are so many simple pleasures to enjoy here. You can walk up to the Bluff Lookout and along to 13th Beach, go fishing from the jetty or nearby beaches, explore the rock pools at the base of the Bluff at low tide, or enjoy a swim in the river. You can also cross the bridge to the beautiful surf beaches at Ocean Grove.

It is the kind of place where you might decide to stay a little longer. The park is only a short stroll from the township of Barwon Heads, so you can easily walk to the local shops, cafés and restaurants without needing to get back in the car.
