Pine Ridge Hipcamp

Pine Ridge Camping is set on 80 acres of peaceful farmland, just 15 minutes from Mount Gambier, making it a fantastic base to explore the Limestone Coast.

The campsites are located in a quiet back paddock and are perfect for off grid, self contained campers. Each site is approximately 20m x 20m, lined with trees and offering plenty of space for tents, caravans, camper trailers, RVs, or even buses.

You will be close to many of the region’s highlights. The Blue Lake and The Little Blue Lake are nearby, with the Little Blue being a great swimming spot in summer. The beautiful Umpherston Sinkhole is also just down the road and is a lovely place for a picnic, or to visit at dusk when you can help feed the resident possums.

If you enjoy fishing or boating, Port MacDonnell is only 25 minutes away, making it easy to launch the boat, spend a day on the water or simply enjoy the beach.

Sites are limited to one van or tent per site unless arranged beforehand. As this is a self contained campground, there are no facilities, so visitors must manage their own waste and use approved dump points in town. Please also take all rubbish with you when you leave.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly and well behaved.

Please note that the official address is 243 Caroline Road, Yahl SA 5291, however access to the camping paddock is via Brown Road. Look for the large double gates with a black and gold “Pine Ridge” sign just inside the entrance, which makes the site easy to find and provides extra privacy for campers and the property owners.
